Borderland State Park is a history and nature preserve with public recreational features in Easton and Sharon, Massachusetts. The state park encompasses 1,843 acres surrounding the Ames Mansion, built-in 1910.
This park is so beautiful, and I used to visit it a lifetime ago. When my friend and fellow photographer, Dennis Stein, asked me to photograph with him, I was game. I hadn't I brought a traditional Nikon SLR and my 360 camera, and of course, my Samsung Phone. The above photos are taken with a Nikon D7200. Dennis brought a Leica Film Camera, Polaroid Camera with black and white instant film, and a pinhole camera. That is a lot of cameras for one trip, but it was fun to see what we both photographed. Although we both look for cool shapes in nature. I am more of a foliage and flower person. This park has such pretty trails. It was great to revisit them. I have wanted to go to Boston to take pics but still have to plan that out. This was a pleasant diversion. Getting outside always makes me feel better. It hasn't been easy these days. I will be posting more soon.
